Dictating the terms of resistance that Palestinians are allowed to take is facilitating Jewish supremacy in my opinion. You have been doing that for more than two decades. It is not for us to decide whether Palestinians feel Hamas represents them or Fatah or anyone else. It is for us to expose Jewish supremacy and to expose the crimes our society is carrying out on behalf of Jewish supremacy and otherwise.
You very wrongly equate opposition to terrorism (deliberate violence against non-combatant civilians) with Jewish supremacy, which is ABSURD. According to your absurd thinking, most Muslims therefore support Jewish supremacy. In fact, by equating terrorism with resistance, you make it EASY for the Zionists to prevail by maintaining the public support they need for that.
Well, thank you for allowing my comment to be posted in any case. I feel you are imposing your narrow view on the struggle others are faced with - a slow motion genocide abetted by biased, dehumanizing propaganda. Our job is to not facilitate the demonization of Palestinians and the divisions within Palestinians society, but you seem quite comfortable doing just that. I suggest that our job is to be humble in the face of the crimes we are forced to support through our tax dollars and to counter the dehumanization of the war machine and the Jewish supremacy that is manifest in not only the propaganda, news and entertainment media, but also in what gets censored from the internet and what historical topics are illegal to examine in Europe. I feel you have no problem with Jewish supremacy and never did and that is where we will fail to find common ground. And it is why you are the one who seems to love ethnic.race war, not me. May God help you and us all. Love over fear and the truth will set us all free. Glossing over the genocidal sociopath mentality of Jewish supremacy will not, however. If you have exposed that elsewhere, then my apologies. Please alert me to where you have done that. And just because I understand that Jewish supremacy is real and deadly does not mean I fail to notice that many Jews reject it and work tirelessly against it. This is not a genetic failing, but a learned ideology that can be unlearned. And for the sake of humanity, must be unlearned.
Aimee, I challenge you to cite ( quote) a single sentence of mine that , as you slanderously claim, supports Jewish supremacy. Try reading what I actually have written:
John, I think you should consider Norm Finkelstein's discussion on the Jimmy Dore show. He demonstrates humility about condemning resistance to a genocide that activists like yourself, him and I have failed to stop in any way. I hope your obsession with condemning the tactics of Palestinian resistance is out of a blind spot for your own hubris and not an intentional effort to undermine political support for the persecuted people who have tried all manner of non-violent resistance tactics only to be ignored by the world and shot like fish in a barrel. This seems to have been your focus with the Somerville Divestment Project if my memory serves. Again, I hope this is just a blind spot and you are not intentionally trying to slander Palestinians by holding them to a much higher standard than their genocidal, supremacist Jewish occupiers. Also, I recommend you read Israel Shahak's "Jewish Fundamentalism in Israel" to have a better take on the typical views of Jews in Israel. Sad to say, but a violent level of Jewish supremacy is quite pervasive in Israel and the US among Jews. I hope you aren't in some way enticed into whitewashing these facts. I consider seeking and discussing the truth the best path forward toward true peace for all.
I am sorry you don’t understand that Hamas is an instrument of Zionism. Hamas opposed The Great March of Return, which enormously strengthened world understanding of and hence support for Palestinians. Hamas does exactly the opposite very obviously.
The issue is not violence versus nonviolence. The issue is class war versus ethnic/race war. The ruling elites LOVE and fund and promote ethnic/race war because it only strengthens their domination over the have-nots. Why you love ethnic/race war and call it “resistance” is beyond me. Resistance is not terrorism and terrorism is not resistance.

Aimee, I have read Israel Shahak’s great book. I even devoted my book about Israel to his memory.
I suggest you read what a great Palestinian wrote and also what Most Muslims believe about violence against non-combatant civilians at https://www.newdemocracyworld.org/old/War/noncombatants.htm .
