What I Learned from the Rioting in Great Britain
It's not complicated!
One thing is now clear, from the evidence in Great Britain and the United States and Europe:
If you want to pit the have-nots against each other, and if you want to destroy working class solidarity, and if you want to make people easier to control; and f you want to make a lot of middle class people support draconian authoritarian rule with a police state, well then the best way to accomplish this, the proven way that works really really well, is to use the weapon of mass migration. It works like a charm.
It works especially well if you do things1 to create resentment by the working class natives of the newcomers, and to create anger by the working class natives at the massive migration policy and at the migrants themselves, and to get the migrants to arm themselves against the natives, and then—this is the cherry on top!—to get the middle class natives to accuse the working class natives of being racist because they’re angry.
The rulers in the United States and Great Britain and Europe are lately experts at all of this. The first step was to jack up the amount of migration:
If, on the other hand, you want to create solidarity and trust and mutual aid among the have-nots then the way to do THAT is by building an egalitarian revolutionary movement that champions these values that are shared by the vast majority of people.
It’s not complicated.
But note this: the fact is that the vast majority of people in Great Britain are not rioting or protesting against the “far right”; they are staying out of it. It’s the mass media and government, not any substantial number of ordinary people, who are trying to whip up divisive violence. Things such as making jobs and social services artificially scarce for working class people (by diverting social wealth to warmongering and billionaire luxuries, etc.) and then promoting (if only secretly) those who say that the migrants are taking these things away from the natives and the migrants get treated better by the police and the government than natives. It’s not complicated.
That's very true and agree with everything, and yet i think it's always important to remember that the images and stories presented to us by the billionaire's media is NOT what is actually happening in reality, reality among ordinary people is often much less conflictual than the billionaire's propaganda media tries to portray it.
