Ever Notice that So Many YouTube Ads Appeal to People's Anger at the Big $ Class?
They know--and so should we!--that most people would LOVE to remove the rich from power.
I’m talking about annoying ads like this one:
Most of the ads that interrupt the YouTube videos I watch have one interesting thing in common. They appeal to the anger that their intended audience presumably has at the Big $ class.
The Standard Ad Storyline
A typical ad will start by telling a story of our hero who suffered or saw others suffer from the lack of something. It could be the lack of a medicine or procedure to cure toenail fungus or something even worse, or the lack of an affordable way to heat one’s home or classroom, or the lack of way to make one’s car get good gas mileage, or the lack of a way to protect one’s money from being taken by the Federal Reserve’s digital money scheme, etc.
The story continues by telling us how our hero wanted to do something to help people obtain what they so desperately needed. And, it turns out that our hero is a genius young man who figured out how to do what nobody before ever could. Or maybe our hero is an older man “blessed” with the very special technical/medical/inside knowledge or circumstances (such as having been an employee at a Big $ or Big Pharma corporation that dealt with the issue at hand) that enabled him (it’s always a him in my experience) to come up with a solution to the problem. At this point we sometimes get regaled with techno-babble that sounds very impressive, you know “scientifically proven”, Oppenheimer energy principle, “bernoulli air flow,” “electrical impedance,” “military tactical,” or what have you.
Next we learn that our hero has created an absolutely wonderful solution to the problem, but guess what? When word got out that he discovered how people could heat their home for practically nothing or drive their car for only one fifth the cost in fuel or avoid expensive medicines with a cheap substitute that works even better, and so on, then Big $ corporate bullies came down on him like a ton of bricks to prevent his product from ever seeing the light of day. Why? Because it would cut into their profits. Our hero got fired from his job with the Big $ corporation, or he was ordered by Big $ lawyers to stop promoting his product.
But, lucky for you, the viewer of the ad, our hero is bucking the evil Big $ guys. He is making this stupendous product (or idea) available directly to you, by-passing the attempt of Big $ to keep it suppressed! Just click on the link below to get it. Act fast while supplies last, or before the Big $ guys take this video down.
The Ad-Makers Know Something We Should Know Too
The people making these ads understand that most people hate Big $. They know that most people hate the government and banks it controls. They know most people don’t trust the Big $/government establishment, and view as a hero any person who goes against this establishment to make life better for ordinary people.
The fact that most people feel this way is the reason why most people today already say, when asked (which is unfortunately seldom), that they think it would be a good (or a great!) idea to remove the rich from power to have real, not fake, democracy with no rich and no poor. In other words, most people today are egalitarian revolutionaries in their aspiration even if (as is typically the case) they don’t think such an egalitarian revolution is possible (because they don’t think enough OTHER people want it.)
But the fact is that the VAST MAJORITY of people want an egalitarian revolution, as the ad-makers know and as I prove here.
Good observation.
Yes, I did notice that..
And slightly off topic, but in case you wish to see youtube videos without ads, then watch them in a browser, not in the youtube app.
If you use the 'Brave' browser, which has in-built ad blocker, then you won't see any ads before during or after any video (nor any other ads anywhere online).
PS. There is also the option on the 'Brave' browser to disable to ad-blocker for certain sites, in case you really want to see ads on some sites..
