Side note: Rik and I have been watching vintage tv shows of " COLUMBO"... and all of them represented that bad guys ( who all got caught due to their stupidity )... were bad because of GREED.

Yes, the death scene of Llewelyn Moss, the anti-hero in No Country for Old Men, was a low key event in the film. He represented our hopes of wrenching back some of the ill-gotten gains from the forces of evil in this case the drug barons. Instead we were shown his lifeless body in a cynical brief scene that wiped out one's enjoyment.The death seemed to suggest that resistance is hopeless and evil will always prevail.
