James C. Scott wrote a brilliant book that reveals what the have-nots really think but typically fear to say aloud; the book shows that 'hegemonic' ideas are not all that hegemonic!

This book (at Amazon here) is a must read! It will make you immune to the lies about ordinary people that the ruling class-owned mass media and the ruling class-controlled so-called “alternative” media tell us (by omission—a.k.a. censorship—as well as commission) about ordinary people, about how they supposedly have no radical criticism of the status quo, bla bla. READ IT!
